Sol + Tribu

Sol Ruiz is an international artist based in Miami. She is Cuban-American, raised in Miami, and has lived in New Orleans, Madrid, and Italy.

The project Sol Ruiz Tribu (tribu meaning tribe) features talented musicians that she collaborates with in various cities.

Funky, sexy, tropical and fun, The GrooveLab is a cover project started by Sol Ruiz Tribu that blends hits from different eras, sung in English and Spanish by weaving them together with funky grooves and harmonies, creating a spontaneous and energetic atmosphere.

The Groove Lab performs American classics, top 40 hits, and tropical sing alongs, inspiring the audience to participate, dance, and have a good time!

Bita

BITA, is a singer-songwriter from Andalucía, Spain.

Her musical influences come from a fusion of styles like Jazz, Blues, Soul, Funk, Latin Jazz and Flamenco, providing innately, a touch of creativity and spontaneity to the music she plays.

The diversity of her roots has led her to participate in various festivals in Europe and Latin America.

Through improvisation and fusion in Deep House and Electronic Music, she has found a source of expression and personal inspiration with which manages to eliminate barriers between musical styles and labels.

Currently, she is being hired by the best dance halls in the country, performing at very well-known festivals and theaters internationally recognized.

Julio Montalvo Collective

Julio Montalvo is one of the leading trombonists from the island of Cuba. Songwriter, producer, arranger and session musician, he also appears as a solo artist, directing his own project since 1998, in which he blends Afro-Cuban rhythms with elements of modern Jazz to achieve an ingenious style - New Latin Jazz.

Julio has participated in various Jazz Festivals, with his own projects and as a sideman, in the San Javier Jazz Festival, Jazz Plaza La Habana, Istanbul Jazz Festival, Jazz in Marciac France, Granada Jazz Festival, Valencia Jazz Festival, Lugo Jazz Festival and Universijazz, Ciudad Real, Art Basel Party Miami Desing District 2017 with Julio Montalvo Mambo Madness Orchestra, amongst others.

He has collaborated with the leading stars of Pop and Rock in Spain. He won a Grammy Award for co-producing the Acoustic David Bisbal "A Night at the Theatre Royal" where he participated as co-arranger and multi-instrumentalist.

He has shared the stage with musicians from the international jazz circuit such as: Pat Metheny/Perico Sambeat Sedajazz Big Band, Team Cuba, Alain Pérez, Ximo Tébar, Dominique D’ Piazza, Darryl Hall, Claudio Roditi, Donald Edwards, Miguel “Angá” Diaz, Mark Nightingale, Jose Negroni, Mike Mossman, Gladstone Galliza, Ramon Cardo Big Band, Edmundo Carneiro, and more.

In July 2013 he created the Julio Montalvo Big Band, a 20- musician orchestra that gives us an intimate yet entertaining show, backed by musicians of the highest standard.

The French Horn Collective

Vincent Raffard is a multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter born in Paris, France in 1980. He trained as a trumpet player and jazz guitarist for many years at CIM (Centre Institution of music) in Paris, the American School of Modern Music, and Conservatoire de Paris X. 

He started his professional performing career on the Paris scene in the early 2000s with the group "Augustin” as their music arranger and lead trumpet. In 2005, He composed and co-wrote his first Album "Celestin" with the French actress, Caroline Tresca, published in 2006 by Sonny BMG.

Based in Miami, Florida since 2007, Vincent created his band, The French Horn Collective, where he loves to sing in his native French, interpreting the great classics, infused with fun, toe-tapping originals. His style has been described as "Parisians with influences of Gypsy jazz, swing and French songs where mixed Latinos dance rhythms of Miami”.

Florenza Campos

Florenza Campos began vocal lessons at the age of 9 with Grammy winning coach and producer Jose Miguel Velasquez. She recorded her first demo at the age of 11, studied in a performing arts high school in Miami and soon went off to study and graduate from Berklee College of Music. At Berklee, she won a songwriting award for her single "Heartbreaker", which charted for months in dance charts with remixes by Manny Lehman. Heartbreaker eventually caught the attention of the popular Brazilian group, Double You, and she was invited by them to Brazil to write and record an EP as well as tour with the band as an opening act. She has 2 studio EPs and just released her latest single “Hacerte Mia” through Sony Latin Music. She gigs weekly all over Florida, and travels the world back and forth with Latin superstar Maluma as a background vocalist and main feature on his female songs.

Juju

Fusing Jazz & Soul, JuJu brings to life a fresh take on a nostalgic sound. Made in Miami, the band's core is composed of guitarist/composer Rainer Davies, singer/songwriter Shira Abergel, drummer Harvel Nakundi, & bass player/multi-instrumentalist composer Dion Kerr.  From time to time they are joined by the occasional surprise musical guest - usually playing horn or organ. 

JuJu has been noted for performances at West Palm Beach's City Place, Miami's Faena, the renowned Mar-A-Lago and more. They are a refreshing blast from the past, playing an obscure mix of melodies from jazz standards to 70's soul songs. So stay tuned and come get your JuJu for the soul!

Jahzel Dotel

Jahzel Dotel, a soprano jazz singer who brings her soulful, jazzy, and sassy style wherever she performs with beauty and grace. Jahzel is a sweet blend of Ella Fitzgerald, Norah Jones, and Billie Holiday. She is the First Place Winner of the Miami Beach Jazz Festival Vocal Competition 2013. Jahzel is a performance artist and vocalist for Alma Dance Theater and Pioneer Winter Collective. She sings in French, Spanish, and Portuguese.  Her newly-released album. When she is not singing, you can find her teaching yoga around Miami.
